Naked and Kyoto's best old ryotei restaurants “Hyotei” and “Kinobue” collaborated to create an artistic premium dining experience at the World Heritage Site, Nishi Honganji Temple.
Naked Inc. will hold a limited four-day event on October 5 (Sat.), 6 (Sun.), 12 (Sat.), and 13 (Sun.) at the National Treasure Shoin Konoma in Honganji Temple (Nishi Honganji Temple, Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto City), a World Heritage site of the Honganji School of Shinshu Jodo. The premium dining menu (80,000 yen per person including tax) will be held for four days only on Sunday the 13th. Also on sale is a set ticket for a tea culture experience presented by a legendary tea farmer and tea merchant at the national treasure Hounkaku, which is normally closed to the public. Both events will be held as a special part of the “NAKED Hikari no Nishi-honganji 2024 Autumn Special Viewing,” a light-up event to be held from Tuesday, October 1 to Wednesday, October 16 (except Wednesday, October 9), commemorating the 30th anniversary of the temple's World Heritage registration and the 800th anniversary of the founding of the Rikkyo sect.
