The Ninomaru Garden, which was designated as a Special Place of Scenic Beauty of Japan in 1953, will be illuminated beautifully in with summer-themed colors. Various illuminations are presented for different hours, offering a different experience from early afternoon, evening, and after dark. *Visitors are free to tour the castle grounds with no time limits.

Discover stalls where you can challenge yourself to archery—Nijo-jo Castle tradition—as well as the classic Super Ball Scooping and Yo-yo Fishing. Capture memorable moments of the summer festival with experiences to be enjoyed by children and adults alike. *Each game costs 300 yen per play (tax included). *Payments are accepted in cash , PayPay, and credit card payments.
Have a taste of unique cocktails and Kyoto-style shaved ice presented by the Tokyo-based art restaurant, "TREE by NAKED yoyogipark". The shaved ice, available in matcha (green tea) and hojicha (roasted green tea) flavors is made with tea leaves sourced from the renown Kyoto brand Fukujuen.
